I had such a fun birthday!
Daddy and Mommy had a small party for me. I got to play with friends, eat cake (a first) and open some presents. Look at this cool new car I got!

Look Who's Walking!

Logan took his first steps over our Christmas vacation back in IL... which was perfect because all of his grandparents were able to witness this exciting milestone. Now about a month later he's all over the place! Although still unsteady at times, it seems as if nothing can get in his way. He's one determined little boy. Some of his favorite activities now days are throwing (well dropping) a ball. He especially likes Daddy's golf balls (they make the best noises on the tile floor), however once he figures out how to actually throw them we will need to figure out where to hide them. He also loves to be outside, especially in the rocks. Our neighbors passed down their Little Tikes slide and a mini Big Wheels, but Logan would much rather be playing in the rocks; go figure. However with the rainy weather we've had recently all he can do is walk over to the sliding glass door, bang on the glass and babble away.

Here comes the pitch!

Weeee!!

Exploring the rocks with Daddy.

He doesn't even mind sitting on them! (I bet the diaper helps).

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Logan and his Santa hat.
Hey- where did everybody go?

Just couldn't resist sharing this picture. Now that is some serious bed head!

Elf Yourself

A friend of ours made this for us. I think you'll find it rather amusing.

Look Out Here I Come

Snow Pants

All bundled up

Playing with and early Christmas gift.

We spent the weekend in Chicago with Blake's family... it was freezing! Logan was definately not a fan of the cold weather. Everytime we put his coat on him he got so mad. (He's definately an AZ baby.) But he sure did look cute in that hat.

The Duckifier

Recently, Logan has been very entertained by little rubber duckies. He's figured out a way to carry them around without using his hands. I crack up every time I see him with that silly duck sticking out of his mouth. Hope it makes you smile too. What a treasure he is!

Raspberries

It might be smart for me to start wearing a bib as well now when I am feeding Logan. He just recently figured out how to blow raspberries. (Why do we call them that anyway?) When he first figured it out I think it may have been on accident from all the drool is mouth produces lately but he's been hooked ever since on the noise and probably the funny feeling too. For the first few days he would make them randomly and every time I'd run to get may camera to try to capture it on video. Well of course as soon as he caught a glimpse of the camera he was done with the raspberries and only interested in grabbing the camera. But alas we finally were able to capture the entertaining milestone Saturday morning at breakfast. What better to do with the food mom and dad put in my mouth that to blow it right back out! As I was taping him I began thinking, this probably isn't the best time to encourage this new trick and sure enough the next time we fed him that day he was way more interested in blowing raspberries than swallowing his food. So now we've created a monster.

First Park

Yesterday it finally felt like fall here. We took Logan to one of the parks in our neighborhood. He loved being outside, but wasn't too sure about the slide the first time Daddy took him down it. I'm sure one day we won't be able to get him to leave it... "One more time, pleeeease!" Ready to slide with Daddy.

Teeter-tottering with Mommy.

Checking out the view.

Sometimes a park can bring out the kid in all of us.

Monkey'n around like Daddy.

Back in Action

Reading my favorite book.

Tasting Mommy's apple.

I'm such a "big boy!"

I make crawling look so cool!

Trying to stand up on my diaper bag.

One sweet little boy.

It's been way too long since our last post. : ( Unfortuantely our computer was sick with many viruses. In the mean time though Logan has grown so much. He can now crawl very easily and is now brave enough to pull himself up onto just about everything he can reach... however not everything is able to withstand him though. He really enjoys playing with his blocks, balls, and especially like to gnaw on the end of his putter. I think he's very close to cutting a tooth. He's very happy when it's breakfast, lunch or dinner time and I can't seem to feed him fast enough. He also gets very excited when Daddy gets home from work and he loves it when he chases him as he crawls. He a has the cutest giggle.

1st Attempt to Crawl

He has just figured out how to get on all four's... still working on what to do with his hands once he's there.
